Why You Should Stop Checking Your Investments Every Day

Description

When I invest, my positive outlook comes from knowing I am backing human endeavour. When investing in a business like Microsoft, where I hold shares, I know roughly 220,000 smart, hardworking employees are striving every day to improve their products and services. That drive to push forward exists across businesses of all sizes, from local companies to global giants. The negative outlook from an investing standpoint is watching people get caught up in tracking their portfolios and superannuation daily on apps. There is zero upside to checking your balances every day. Set up your regular savings, invest appropriately, and let the people inside these businesses do their jobs. Business growth happens over years, not weeks or months, and stopping the daily habit of checking your balance is the best way to maintain a long term perspective. General Advice Only.
