When you sign up, we store:

• Email address — used to sign you in and to send the emails you choose
• Display name — shown on leaderboards and in chat
• Email preferences — which emails you want, and when you opted in or out of news from Rob

We also collect data you generate while using The Wealth Lab:

• Trading activity (buys, sells, limit orders)
• Portfolio and holdings data
• Chat messages sent in games
• Achievements earned
• Watchlist entries

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the fantasy stock market game
• To display your name and activity on leaderboards and in games
• To send you sign-in emails, which you need to use the site
• To send you in-app notifications, and emails about your trades and games unless you turn them off in Settings
• To send you news from Rob, only if you opt in
• To maintain and improve the service

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

• Amazon Simple Email Service — delivers our emails. Amazon receives your email address and the content of each email we send you.
• Twelve Data — provides stock market price data. We send no personal data to Twelve Data.

4. Cookies & Sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. This is a functional cookie required for the site to work. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information (name and email) is removed and replaced with anonymous placeholders. Game data (trades, scores) is retained in anonymised form for leaderboard integrity.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Export your data — download all your personal data from Account Settings
• Delete your account — permanently anonymise your account from Account Settings
• Contact us — reach out via our Contact page with any privacy questions
