Emergency Fund Before You Invest #personalfinance #wealthbuilding
Description
Set up your emergency fund before you start investing. Here's why.
If all your money is in the share market and something unexpected happens, you could be forced to sell at the worst possible time. Markets go up and down, and you don't want to be cashing out when they're at a low just because you need the money.
An emergency fund gives you that buffer. Hospital bills, car trouble, whatever it is, you've got cash sitting there ready to go without touching your investments.
Build the safety net first. Then invest with confidence knowing you're not going to be in a position where you have to sell when you don't want to.
