Q&A: Paying CGT yearly on inherited ETFs without selling—how can I reduce or avoid it?

Replying to @waopperman ETFs are an amazing investment vehicle to provide diversification in a single transaction. But they also have downfalls and one of those downfalls is the capital gains that is often inherited for a new investor and as these capital gains are triggered over the financial year they need to be distributed to the unit holders. ETFs and manage funds are built for scale not for the individual and there are better ways to invest in my opinion. General advice only. #etf #financialadvice #sharemarket #tax
