Hi Rob, is adding just $10–$20 a week into super at age 25 worth it for long-term growth? Thanks!
Description
investing earlier and allowing compounding returns to do it thing. It’s far more valuable than money that you save later on in life. Coco has asked the question whether it’s worth it even if it is a smaller amount each week. Of course everyone probably knows the answer they’re doing something is better for nothing but the projector I’ve built proves this and cannot allow you to run the numbers for yourself. This projector is only for concessional contributions or pre-tax contributions going into Superannuation which is taxed at 15% and is showing three scenarios where people start saving from age 20 then age 30 and lastly from age 40 and saving for 20 years and the difference that it can make over the long-term there should be a huge motivator for people to invest some money and look after their future self whilst making sure that you’re also enjoying the present day and getting the balance right.
