Description

If you're in your 20s, you are still really, really hopefully 70 plus years ahead of you in good health. Thinking about living now because you are young, hopefully, you know, you don't have all these commitments tying you down. You want to be free and have your fun, so make sure you do set money aside for that and building up memories indefinitely.

But also setting some aside for long-term growth, especially if you do want to retire before 60 when you are able to access your super. So having money set aside to super, but also to an investment structure outside of super to hopefully fund that early retirement and give you that passive income so you don't have to work so hard for your whole entire life is probably the biggest piece of advice I would give. And also look at where to invest for that whole timeframe.

Money Smart have a good compounding interest calculator. If you even put $20 a week away, you can see the it would give you in 10, 15, 20 years. So do that.

It's really motivating and it might excite you to get started on your investing journey.
