The easiest tax win this financial year
Description
High-income earners, this one is worth noting.
From 1 July 2026, the concessional contribution cap has increased by $2,500, from $30,000 to $32,500.
That means you may have more room to contribute extra into super before tax.
For those earning under $250,000, concessional contributions are generally taxed at 15% inside super, rather than your marginal tax rate, which could be 32%, 37%, or even 45%.
That difference can create a meaningful tax saving while also giving your super more money to invest and grow for the future.
A smart reminder to review your contribution strategy this financial year.
