Description

If you've got an investment portfolio and you're looking to make some adjustments, knowing that the RBA rate is sitting at 2.5% and is expected to stick around especially with everything happening in the world right now and no short term fix in sight: here are some things to consider.
With inflation high at 3.5% and less money freely flowing through the economy, people are spending less on discretionary goods. So think about shifting your allocation toward consumer staples, the businesses that people need regardless of what's happening economically.
Also consider increasing your exposure to AI infrastructure the businesses building data centres, cloud connectivity and AI services and software. Think about what the world actually needs right now versus where people are cutting their leisurely spending, and adjust your portfolio accordingly.
Reduce your discretionary spending exposure and lean into the infrastructure being built out to service the AI economy.
